 There is more demand than supply.Ex. A brand makes 50 shoes for 150$, but 1000 people want it. What happens? The value of the 150$ t-shirt goes up, since there is more people wanting it than what is actually produced. The result: that 150$ t-shirt is sold on the after market for 250+$.This is why Nike Air Jordan products are so expensive/coveted, but same goes with Yeezys, Adidas NMDS, Palace, Supreme etc.
